Smooth Sailing
09/08/12 1:00PM - 4:00PMEven the smoothest sailing rarely leaves you dry, so come ready to get wet! Whether or not you already know what a boom is, we will help you learn the ropes
and feel confident in a sailboat. Starting on land, you’ll learn how to tie some basic knots, learn all about a boat’s parts and how they work, and enjoy a rigging
challenge before you even hit the water. Then we’ll take you out in a boat, where you’ll learn how to harness the wind and maneuver around the lake. Once you are able to demonstrate your skills, we’ll set you free on the water.
