Saddle Up
11/17/12 9:00AM - 10:00AMSaddle Up is a great opportunity to learn many basic aspects of proper horse care and riding. Learn how to halter your horse and how to tie a quick release knot. Assist with grooming and picking out your horse’s hooves. Head out to the arena with your horse and learn how to properly mount and dismount, how to steer your horse and how to have fun in the saddle.
Who: Girls in grades 4-12
Dates: Saturday, October 27, 2012, Saturday, November 17, 2012, or Saturday, March 30, 2013
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: Camp Tapawingo
Fee: $20 girls per session
Min/Max: 4/8 girls per session
Closing Date: 2 weeks prior to each session
Pre-requisite: Equestrian I-no experience necessary
