Summer Gardens and Flowers

06/06/13 5:30PM - 7:30PM

Earn your Flowers and Gardener badges while exploring Sarah’s Garden, a 1872 garden restoration, with experts from the U of I Master Gardeners of McLean County and the David Davis Mansion Foundation. In the Gardener Badge workshop, learn about the history, design, and flowers grown in Sarah’s Garden and experiment with the use of soil, water, and sunlight in growing plants. Make a mini-fairy garden to take home. In the Flowers Badge workshop, you’ll become a  botanist on a flower hunt.
