Choose your own focus area, such as equine, aquatics, or outdoor skills. Learn, work, and grow side by side with experienced camp staff and meet with your adviser each evening to reï¬ect on your experiences. If you love working with younger campers and hanging out with older Girl Scouts at camp, you will love this two- week session. You’ll spend the ï¬rst week at Camp Tapawingo improving your camping and leadership skills and observing the counselors in action as you begin the sisterhood journey. Then join back up at Camp Peairs, where you’ll be paired with a unit to lead daily camp activities. As a Counselor in Training you’ll have plenty of time to stay up late making midnight grilled cheese and playing goofy CIT games. You will receive the CIT I pin in a private ceremony the last night at camp.
