With your favorite guy, compete to see who can build the fastest fire, construct the best shelter, and find the most items in a scavenger hunt at camp. Stop off at the checkpoint to check scores and enjoy a snack. You and your guy will wear matching necklaces and then attend an award ceremony to see which pair will bring home the gold. GSCI’s challenge course offers low and high ropes courses at each site and a variety of ground initiatives designed to enhance student leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, as well as to improve communication, cooperation, support, trust, and risk-taking capabilities. Low ropes courses explore and recognize the benefits of highly effective teams and team building. High ropes courses take your group to a higher level by utilizing elements that are 20 and 40 feet in the air. Participants use ropes and harnesses--as well as a zip line!--to negotiate the course. At Camp Widjiwagan, you also have the option of scaling the climbing wall.
