Girl Scout member reservations will be processed up to six months in advance. To give Girl Scout members priority, non-member groups will be processed four months in advance.

Camp Peairs consists of 88 wooded acres situated on Lake Bloomington. This site is ideal for camping, events and cookouts.
Peairs Lodge
The Lodge has showers, flush toilets, heat, electricity, a full kitchen, a fireplace, and a large screened dining porch with an additional fireplace. Picnic tables and a fire circle are available outdoors. The loft in the lodge sleeps 20 on each side on mattresses.
Aramoni Tent Unit
Aramoni Tent Unit sleeps 28 in 7 platform tents.
Sunset Unit
Sunset Unit sleeps 40 in 4 cabins.
Hilltop Unit
Hilltop Unit sleeps 20 in 2 cabins and 32 in 8 platform tents.
The seasonal cabins each house 10 people sleeping on cots and mattresses. Platform tents are available. All units are equipped with an outdoor toilet, a fire circle and fire safety equipment, picnic tables, and limited cooking equipment. Users may utilize outdoor latrines; indoor restrooms are within a short walking distance. Seasonal cabins and platform tents are available April 15 through October 15 except during summer resident camp.
Sailing and canoeing on Lake Bloomington are unique opportunities for visitors of Camp Peairs. We also offer an archery range and hiking trails for use. These
activities are dependent on trained staff and/or volunteer availability.

This 55 acre wooded site sits adjacent to Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve and is bordered by the Sangamon River. It is perfect for first time campers as it includes three winterized lodges with fireplaces, electricity, bathrooms (inside or nearby), and kitchen facilities. Platform tents are available with a fire circle for outdoor cooking. Hiking trails are nearby.

Main Lodge
The Main Lodge was built in 1941 and renovated in 2007. It is used for program events and meetings throughout the year. Main Lodge has a flush toilet, a fireplace, a full kitchen, electricity, heat, and a parking area. Picnic tables, a deck and a fire circle are available outdoors. Two levels comprise the Main Lodge. The loft sleeps 25 on mattresses.
Locust Lodge
Locust Lodge is available for camping and offers bunkhouse-style camping. Renovated in 2007, the Locust Lodge accommodates 18 people sleeping on bunk beds. A full kitchen, indoor flush toilets, a shower, heat and electricity are available. Outdoors is a fireplace and amphitheater seating area.
Evergreen Lodge
Evergreen Lodge is used as the dining hall during summer camp and group camping. The lodge is winterized on October 15 and opens again on March 15. The facility holds 25 people for sleeping on mattresses. Tables and chairs are available for dining. The lodge has electricity, heat, and a shower house located next door with indoor flush toilets and showers. Commercial kitchen facilities are located within Evergreen, but use of
these facilities requires a certified food supervisor. Outside is a large pavilion for activities.
Camp Kiwanis offers an archery range and hiking trails for use. Archery activities are dependent on trained staff and/or volunteer availability.

Explore the forested rolling hills of this 640 acre camp. This site is ideal for camping, events and outdoor picnics. Camp Tapawingo caters to the progress outdoor experience.

Mary Morgan Lodge
Mary Morgan Lodge, the cornerstone of this property, is a 12,000 square foot, air-conditioned, multi-level dining hall and program center. Ideal for hosting large events, the lodge is furnished with tables and chairs and has large fireplaces. Two levels are available – a more formal upper level and a lower level used mostly for programs. The lodge accommodates 150 for dining in the upper level and 50 overnight sleeping on mattresses. The lower level can sleep 50 overnight. Groups must use the fire circle for cooking. A licensed food supervisor must be secured to use the commercial kitchen.
Spirit Lodge
Spirit Lodge is a large sleeping cabin built in 1957. It is available April 15 through October 15 and can accommodate groups up to 40. The lodge features a full kitchen, indoor circle fireplace, flush toilets, tables and chairs and electricity. Two sleeping wings join together in a gathering room around the fireplace. Groups sleep on cots and mattresses. Outside are two fire circles for campfires.
Unit House Camping
Setting Sun, Rustling Oaks, White Cloud and Shining Star units are available for camping. Each unit with the exception of Rustling Oaks, has a unit house and platform tents. Rustling Oaks contains a unit house only. The unit houses are all equipped with indoor flush toilets (White Cloud has composting toilets), full kitchen with cooking equipment, fireplaces, electricity, tables, chairs and mattresses (no cots), and electric heat. The platform tents are available April 15 through October 15 and house 3-4 people per tent with cots and mattresses. Each unit has a fire circle and comes with standard basic outdoor cooking equipment.
Setting Sun sleeps 20 indoors and 26 outdoors in platform tents.
Rustling Oaks sleeps 16 indoors and has a shower.
Shining Star sleeps 24 indoors and 35 outdoors in platform tents.
White Cloud sleeps 24 indoors and 35 outdoors in platform tents.
Your group can experience many activities while staying at Camp Tapawingo including team building on our high and low ropes courses, test your aim on our
archery range or take a relaxing ride through the property on horseback. A small paddling lake can be explored in a canoe. If exploring on your own, hiking trails wind throughout the property. These activities are dependent on trained staff and/or volunteer availability.

Conveniently located on Lake Springfield, Camp Widjiwagan is a 67 acre wooded haven used for camping, events and trainings. Accommodations include three heated lodges with electricity, kitchens, and fireplaces. Conestoga wagons, and platform tents.

Widjiwagan Lodge
The Widji Lodge, built in 1936, is available year-round. Throughout the year, the historical lodge is used to host programs and serves as a dining hall during summer camp. The lodge accommodates 36 people sleeping on mattresses and includes a fireplace, kitchen, and indoor flush toilets. Table and chairs are available.
Buccaneer
Buccaneer is a uniquely designed sleeping cabin that can sleep up to 24 people on mattresses. Groups can use the kitchen and restroom facilities and cozy around the fireplace. Tables and chairs are available for dining and a deck surrounds the building.
Dad's House
Dad’s House was built in 1941 by a group of Girl Scout dads. This house serves as the camp nurse office during summer camp and has air conditioning, wood floors, fireplace, kitchen, indoor flush toilets, and a shower. Dad’s House accommodates 25 sleepers on mattresses and has a separate leader’s room.
Gypsy Covered Wagons
Gypsy unit features four covered wagons that sleep eight people each in bunk beds. The wagons surround a large fire circle and are located adjacent to the restrooms at Orion.
Tent Units
Four tent units are available at Camp Widjiwagan at varying capacities. The units have screened tents, cots and mattresses, a fire circle, and flush toilets within short walking distance.
Ranch sleep 36 in tents (new in 2007).
Viking sleeps 24 in tents with frames.
Indian sleeps 36 in platform tents.
Orion is located near the lodge and has six sinks and four toilets. It is available for use by all groups year-round.
Hydra shower house is located next to Viking and was built in 2006.
Brand new to Camp Widjiwagan in 2011 is a double-decker high ropes course with elements at 20’ and 40’, a foot climbing tower and a low elements course can
provide high adventure and team building for your group. Also, explore Lake Springfield in a canoe or hike along the beginner trails. These activities are dependent on trained staff and/or volunteer availability.
