Early registering the girls and adults in your troop is a great way to gear up your troop for the upcoming Girl Scout year. It’s a simple, easy process that can be done now instead of worrying about it during the busy back-to-school time in the fall. 

We are excited to announce that EVERYONE - girls and adults alike - who register prior to the June 10, 2013 deadline and complete the necessary paperwork will be eligible to receive a free T-shirt!

Please Note: Girls that qualified for the free 2014 membership through the 2013 cookie program must complete the T-Shirt order form.

We have two different options you may utilize in order to register your troop for the upcoming membership year. You may take advantage of our eRegistration system or you may complete and print a hard copy of the registration forms and turn them in to your local GSCI office.

Membership Dues Increase for 2013-2014

Annual membership dues will increase by $3 to $15, effective October 1, 2013. The last dues increase took effect October 1, 2009, a hike of just $2 and a short-term, bare-minimum solution to funding operations through the recession. At the 2008 National Council Session where this increase was determined, the National Board asked that we anticipate an increase to $15 in three to four years’ time. (When the $15 rate goes into effect on October, 1, 2013, we will be at the four-year point.) We are continuing to deliver and explore new ways of providing high-quality GSLE services and resources to our customers, including technology that makes joining Girl Scouts fast and easy. We are confident that at $15, membership remains a great value. We look forward to working with councils to deliver the best possible service and product to our girls and their families, and to all of our members.
