This 55 acre wooded site sits adjacent to Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve and is bordered by the Sangamon River. It is perfect for first time campers as it includes three winterized lodges with fireplaces, electricity, bathrooms (inside or nearby), and kitchen facilities. Platform tents are available with a fire circle for outdoor cooking. Hiking trails are nearby.

The Main Lodge was built in 1941 and renovated in 2007. It is used for program events and meetings throughout the year. Main Lodge has a flush toilet, a fireplace, a full kitchen, electricity, heat, and a parking area. Picnic tables, a deck and a fire circle are available outdoors. Two levels comprise the Main Lodge. The loft sleeps 25 on mattresses.
Locust Lodge is available for camping and offers bunkhouse-style camping. Renovated in 2007, the Locust Lodge accommodates 18 people sleeping on bunk beds. A full kitchen, indoor flush toilets, a shower, heat and electricity are available. Outdoors is a fireplace and amphitheater seating area.
Evergreen Lodge is used as the dining hall during summer camp and group camping. The lodge is winterized on October 15 and opens again on March 15. The facility holds 25 people for sleeping on mattresses. Tables and chairs are available for dining. The lodge has electricity, heat, and a shower house located next door with indoor flush toilets and showers. Commercial kitchen facilities are located within Evergreen, but use of these facilities requires a certified food supervisor. Outside is a large pavilion for activities.
Camp Kiwanis offers an archery range and hiking trails for use. Archery activities are dependent on trained staff and/or volunteer availability.
