To the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois community,
We are excited to announce that the Board has implemented a plan to conduct an open search for the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois CEO. We have formed a search committee and have selected a firm to assist us in seeking the best CEO for the long term needs of the Council.
Chaired by Dr. Rocio Rivandeneyra, the search committee has reviewed a number of executive search firms and selected Evergreen Executive Source, LLC. Evergreen has worked with councils across the country for over 20 years and made placements in councils large and small, urban and rural, including in Illinois and neighboring states. They are one of the preferred vendors for these types of services recommended by GSUSA.
Our goal is to have an open search and we seek a strong and diverse slate of applicants. Evergreen will recommend candidates internal and external to Girl Scouts to the search committee and for approval by the Board. We trust Evergreen to conduct this search fairly to give consideration to as wide a field as possible, with commitment to the principles of Girl Scouting and at a pace to enable us to have final candidates this spring.
This search will be underway immediately and soon you will see the approved vacancy announcement. All interested individuals should direct inquiries to Bob Perodeau, Principal, at Evergreen by emailing Evergreen.Source@att.net. Evergreen will respond to each inquiry promptly. You may also find the vacancy announcement soon on Egreensource-exec.com and make contact through the message page.
Yours in Girl Scouting,
Anne Warth
Chair, Board of Directors
